Joseph Jerome Ingram-Thompson departed this earthly life on February 4, 2024. “Buck,” as he was affectionately called was born July 26, 1988, to Shelia Curtis Thompson and Joseph Thompson in Chesterfield, SC.
Buck was preceded in death by his grandparents; one brother, Jacobia Thompson; one aunt, Diana Williams; uncles, Joe Williams and Carl Curtis; father-in-law, Prentiss Breeden; sister-in-law, Trina Moore; special friends, Cedale “Dale” Frazier, Oliver “Bishop” Douglas, Jamal “Pap” Easterling.
He attended school in Marlboro County, SC and later relocated to High Point and received his GED. He began working at Packaging Corporation of America until his health declined. He was a member of Living Water Baptist church where him and his boys were baptized together.
To know Buck was to love him. He had a smile that could light up a room. Buck was a family man who loved spending time with his boys ‘playing sports, taking trips, and overall, just being the best father he could be.
Buck leaves to cherish his life and legacy to his wife, Natasha “Seven” Ingram-Thompson; sons, King James, Master Davion, Sirr Chancee, and Saint Levi Ingram-Thompson all of the home; one daughter, Jameshia Sewell of High Point, NC; two grandson whom he loved like a son, Juelz “JuJu’ Thompson and Baby J.; parents, Shelia Thompson and Joseph (Melissa) Thompson all of Bennettsville, SC; bonus moms, Pamela Ingram and Flora Breeden both of High Point, NC; grandmother, Lillian Ingram of High Point, NC; sisters, Shelena Thompson of Bennettsville, SC, Temetrius Sewell of Thomasville, NC, Shamara Dimery of Archdale, NC, Crystal Allen of Trinity, NC and Kiamina Allen, Keisha (Billy) Steele, Cynthelia Quick, Charlotte Turer, Shemeka Turner all of High Point, NC, Ashley (Rashon) Best of Nashville, TN; brothers, Dashawn and Isaiah Thompson of Bennettsville, SC, Desean (Christy) Hall of Durham, NC, Johnny (Jocelyn) Armstrong of Greensboro, NC; special cousin like a brother, Thomas Thompson of Bennettsville, SC; nieces, Tyshira, Zamiyah, Jacobia, Jakeila Thompson and Daysya Graham of Bennettsville, SC; nephews, TrayVeon Thompson of Bennettsville, SC, Christian Allen, Jalen Haggins, Kordarrius Ingram of High Point, NC and Cra’Narius Pegues of Thomasville, NC; aunts, Carlena (Edward) Smith, Annie Moore, Karen Young, Betty Hepburn, Tammy Curtis, Sharon Thompson, and Takita Dimery of Bennettsville, SC; uncles, Andrew and Fred (Clara Mae) Thompson; father-in-law, Walter Terry of Manhattan, KS special friend, Demetrius McCall of Bennettsville, SC and several cousins and friends.
