Jonas was born May 19, 2002, to Jonas Tramone Thompson, Sr., and Tamika Sharese Burns. He attended High Point City Schools. Jonas was an inspiring rapper. He was known as "Duke" and "Mika's baby boy" and was his brother's keeper. Jonas was the joker with a million-dollar smile who enjoyed the amount of time he shared with his daughter.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Tamika Burns, paternal grandfather, Sylvester Quick and step-grandfather, Willie Commander.

Jonas will be missed dearly by his maternal grandmother who reared him, Helen Burns, Father, Jonas Thompson Sr, daughter, Jakira Green, Three brothers, Raekwon Blocker, Travon Peterson and Michael Thompson, Paternal grandparents, William (Rachel) Ingram and Amy Thompson, Great grandmother, Pastor Nadine Quick, Uncle, O'mont Thompson, Special aunts, Pamela Wright, Shania Alford, Mia Alford and LaTonya White, Two God sisters, Mariah Waden and Makayla Wright and a host of great-uncles, great-aunts, many cousins and friends.
