Mr. John Henry Quick, 67 of High Point, NC was given his wings on Tuesday, December 3, 2019. He was born April 11, 1952 in Bennettsville, SC to Ola Mae Quick Watts and Brady Watts, Sr.
John graduated from William Penn High school and joined the Armed Forces. John enjoyed the variety of life and all that it had to offer. He was employed by several establishments throughout his life including Slane Hosiery Mill. He retired from AmeriGas.
He was married to Wanda Gandy Quick. John Henry was an awesome man. He created lasting impressions that shall never be obliterated. He loved to laugh and enjoy his family and friends. Life will never be the same without him here in the flesh.
John was preceded in death by his father, Brady R. Watts Sr.; his honorary son, Bradley Barnes; maternal grandmother, Maggie Ella Quick Blue, paternal grandparents, Oscar (Alice May) Watts; his biological father, Frank Stubbs.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of the home, Wanda Quick of 24 years; his dog Maxx; his loving and heartbroken mom, Mrs. Ola Mae Watts; siblings, Sarah Stubbs Johnson, Robert (Shebra) Watts, Shirley (Joe) Tillman-Johnson, Brenda (Dale) Harris, Brady Watts, Jr., Mary (Mike) Watts, Pamela (Willie) Pressley, Patricia Watts, Michelle (John) Watts; his daughter, LeTanya (Bamidel) Quick; grandsons, Phillip, and Travis; great granddaughter; mother-in-law, Mazie Gandy; sister and brothers-in-law, Sandra (Rodney) Quick, Melvin Gandy, Teddy Gandy, Lamont Gandy and Antione Byers; aunts; Mary Primus, Janie Watts and Mary Quick; uncle, Otis Quick Sr.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
