John Atlas Crump

John Atlas Crump, was born to Charlie and Hannah Crump on June 12, 1953. He departed this earthly life on March 22, 2024, at 70 years of age.
John was educated in High Point City Schools and graduated from High Point Central High School, he enlisted in the US Navy after high school and served for many years.
He was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church and served as a member of the Men's Ministry, Fellowship Choir and Male Choir. He attended church regularly until his health declined. A special bond existed between John and his sister Netter, who was his in-home caretaker until he moved to Pine Acres Nursing Home a year ago.
John was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Willie and Raymond Crump, a sister, Peggie Crump Short. John Leaves cherished memories to his children; John Morrison, Johnette Emerson, Joh Crump and Johnathan Crump; his grandchildren, a brother, Charlie E. Crump, his sister, Netter Crump; special nieces, Alexis and Sanaria, also a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
John will be greatlymissed....because he was greatly loved.
