J. Huston Williams

J. Huston Wiliams, 73, known as "Yogi' to the family and close friends, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, June 6, 2013.

He was born in Lilesville, NC, to Rosetta Williams and Kenzell Spencer. J. Huston attended Anson County public schools and later relocated to High Point, NC, where he was employed with Piedmont Chemical Industries as a truck driver until his retirement. He joined Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and later joined Bessie Chapel. J. Huston was united in marriage to his former wife, Annette Charles and from that union were born four children. He enjoyed deep-sea fishing and watching sports with dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Charlie Williams and Kenzell Spencer II and his son-in-law, William James Green Jr.

He leaves behind to cherish his precious memories to three sons, Jasper Williams of Thomasville, NC, Anthony Huston of High Point, NC and Jay Huston, Jr of Atlanta, GA, two daughters, Sharon Green of High Point, NC and Cynthia Williams of Atlanta, GA, five brothers, Kenneth (Brenda) Williams of Greensboro, NC, Ike( Joyce) Spencer of Baltimore, MD, Alexander (Thelma) Spencer of New Rochelle, NY, Lester, Jr (Kim) Rorie of High Point, NC, one sister, Laura Ann (Bravid) Harris of Atlanta, GA, one sister-in-law, Cindy Williams of Kernersville, NC, one god-sister, Marian Talley of Atlanta, GA, a very dear friend, Carolyn Taylor of Monroe, NC, eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one uncle, three aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
