Jemmaenia Ann Wright, 58, was born on May 20, 1961, in Wilkes-Barre, PA to Thomasena York. She attended Guilford County School and was later employed at Miller Desk as a machine operator for twenty years until the closing of the business She was affectionately known as "Ann." She enjoyed watching Mada plays/movies, cooking, spending time with her family and companion cat "Ziggy/" She was a "straight to the point" and did not mind telling you the truth.
Ann loved attending church. She was a member of Greater St. Matthews Fellowship Ministries. She was a member of the usher board and the church choir before her health declined.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Thomasena York and her brother, Willie York.
Surviving to cherish her memories are her daughter, Sena (Richard) Ingram of High Point, NC. Her son, Sam (Laquanda) York of Greensboro, NC, Four grandchildren, Jasmine Dubuclet Licia York both of High Point, NC. Zion and Laiyah York both of Greensboro, NC; Four great grandchildren, Heath Dubuclet, X'zavier Mosley, A'myiah Mosley and Briana Dubuclet all of High Point, NC, Three sisters, Felicia (Leroy) York-Khan, Francine (Levander) Perkins, Orvella McMullen all of High Point, NC and Oscar (Melody) York of Allentown, PA. Three special friends; Bernie, Ester and Joann. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
