James Wille Brown, 67, affectionately known as "Mickey" or "Mickey Bird" transitioned from this earthly home to his heavenly home on Monday, November 9, 2020, at Wake Forest Baptist Health High Point Medical Center. He was born on September 24, 1953, in Dillon County, SC to Ulyssee Doug and Geneva Williams Brown.
He was a faithful employee with American Ornamentals for 15 years, and also worked with local furniture market, a faithful employee of Durham Furniture until his untimely passing.
Mickey attended the public schools in Dillon County, later he moved to Brooklyn, NY, he later moved to High Point, NC to reside as a permanent residence. He loved to dance and could out dance anyone. Mickey never met a stranger he could get along with anyone no matter what color or background, he treated people with love, he will deeply be missed by all that knew and loved him. One of his sayings were "See ya'll, "ya'll have a good night and God bless"
He was preceded in death by his father; a sister; Carolyn Brown McRae
Surviving relatives are Mildred Brown of the home, his children James Jr Brown, Cosi York, Jody Manning, Sheila, Regina and Wanda; Stepchild, Anthony Brown, his mother; Geneva Brown of Dillon, SC; Brothers; James Calvin Brown, John Calvin Brown, James Calvin Brown, Ernest (Angela) Brown, and Jerry Brown, grandchildren; aunts, uncle, numerous nieces and nephews.
