James Williams

Mr. James Richard Williams, 75, of High Point, NC peacefully went home on Sunday, August 15, 2021, at Hospice Home of the Piedmont. He was born on March 11, 1946, in Dillon County, SC. to the late Dixie and Elizabeth Williams.

Richard worked and retired from Haworth, where he worked for 50 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry Jr. and Roger Williams, and one sister, Mary Williams.

Leaving to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Anita Williams; three sons, Christopher Campbell of Maryland, Michael Williams and Ricky Williams (Latisha), all of High Point, NC, One daughter, Nicole Williams of Jamestown, NC, brother, Howard Williams (Minne); sisters, Hazel Williams, Bernice Townsend, Eunice Jenkins (John) and Pearline Townsend, all of High Point, NC. Five grandchildren, one great granddaughter, Aaliyah, that was dear to his heart: best friend, Lewis Townsend and a host of loving and devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
