James Junior Little, 84 of High Point transitioned from his earthly life to eternal life on Thursday, August 26, 2021. He was born on May 12,1937 in Marlboro County, SC to the late Berta Mae and Lee Little. He attended Marlboro County Schools and William Penn High School. He retired from Kao Specialties, formerly High Point Chemical Company after 40 years of service. He was a faithful member of Living Water Baptist church where he served as a Deacon. James also known as “Junebug” to his close family and friends was an advent Carolina Panthers fan. He loved gospel music especially Lee Williams and the Spiritual QCs. He had a passion for helping others and looked forward to spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great- grandchildren. He will forever be remembered for his warm spirit and cheerful smile.
In addition to his parents, his brother, Clifton Little; son, Alford Charles Bethea, daughter, Willie Mae Morrison and two grandsons, Joseph Glenn Bethea and Bruce Isaiah Dunlap proceeded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his dedicated and loving wife of 50 years, Mrs. Rose Ella Little of the home; his children, Elzannie Bethea, Olinda Crisp, Elaine Bethea, Evelyn Bethea, Delores McCullough, Barbara Ann Bethea, Ronnie Bethea, Ray McInnis, Lorraine (Lee) McCall and Terry (Tawanna) Bethea all of High Point; his brother, Leroy Walls of Bennettsville, SC; also left to cherish his memories are 26 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by his special friends, James Williams and Dan Miller
