James Chennault

James Wright Chennault, 94 of High Point, NC, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022, at his residence. He was born on July 6, 1927, in Warren County, Kentucky to James Chennault and Rosa Lee Dobbins Chennault.

"Godfather," as he was known by many, was married to Jean Conway Chennault.

James was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, and a stepdaughter, Joanne Boone.

Those left to cherish fond and loving memories brother and sister-in-law, Kenny and Peggie David of High Point, NC; other special family-in-laws, David Boone, David Boone, Jr., Sherita Boone and Andrea Boone all of Clinton, NC, Teresa (William) McManus, Bettye Williams, Amy Thompson, all of High Point, NC  Janice Wilson of Charlotte, NC, , Anna (Greg) David of Hyattsville, MD, Allene David of Washington, DC, Tracey Jenkins of Burlington, NC and Odell Canady of Winston-Salem, NC; special friends, Jerry Walker and Neil Jackson, Stan and Ann Washington, J.C. David and Charlie David, many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Godfather will truly be missed.
