On Sunday, July 30, 2013, Henry "Cricket" McRae Jr passed suddenly from this earthly life and entered into eternal rest.
Henry McRae Jr. was born on December 25, 1966, to the late Joyce and Johnny Pegues. he attended High Point Central High School and worked as a welder at Beeson Hardware Company.
In addition to his parents, Henry was also preceded in death by his grandmothers; Ethel Pegues and "Aunt" Blanche McRae.
His life memories and smile will be cherished and remembered by his very special friend, Stephanie Miles of High Point, NC; Six children; Razelle Spears of Bennettsville, SC, Kajuan Hamilton of High Point, NC, Javon Bullard of High Point, NC and Isaiah Steele of Lexington, NC; two daughters, Keyonya Letterlough (Markim) of High Point, NC and Myesha Steele of Lexington, NC; ten grandchildren; two brothers; Donald "Ray" Pegues (LaAndrea Richardson) and Kevin Pegues; six nieces, Erica Lymon, Marquita Harrington, Dominique Porter, Toccoa Richardson, Joycenetta Pegues and Asia Manning; three nephews, Nigel Pegues, Raquan Pegues and Shamar Pegues; two best friends; Jerry Lymon and Kajuane Rorie. A host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
