Helena Telace Williams age 74, entered into eternal rest on July 12, 2017 at High Point Regional Health System. She was born to the late Carl Williams Sr., and Helena Johnson Williams on November 29, 1942 in Baltimore, MD.
Helena was a former member of the Beaver Dam Baptist Church where she was converted at an early age. She attended the public schools of Marlboro County, SC. After relocating from South Carolina, Helena moved to Brooklyn, NY. She remained there until the early 1990’s and later made High Point, NC her home. She attended Friendship Baptist Church in Thomasville, NC.
Helena was a very organized and neat person. She enjoyed dancing and enjoyed listening to gospel music.
In addition to her parents, Helena was also preceded in death by three sisters, Cora Leggett, Hattie Bell Austin Lee and Antranette Williams; one brother, Oliver Williams.
Those who mourn her passing are her children, Paul (Allison) Williams of Queens, NY, Zena (Steven) Fuller –Santos of High Point, NC; two brothers, Herbert Williams of High Point, NC, Carl Williams Jr. of Winterhaven, FL; eleven grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren; five nieces; a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
