Harold Wayne White, age 60, who passed away peacefully on February 26th at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in High Point after a lengthy battle of declining health. He was born on August 25, 1963, to the late Glorenda Coleman and Kenneth Hargraves.
Harold graduated from Page High School in Greensboro, NC. He was a restaurant manager at Ghassan's for over 34 years. His positive qualities made him a cherished and loyal friend to many.
He was a respected member of the St. John's Lodge #12 P.H.A., Greensboro Consistory #106, Khalif Temple A.E.O.N.M.S #144, R.L. Seibels H.R.A.M #79, E.R. Hopkins Commandery Knights Templar #15. In his free time, Harold enjoyed watching Dallas Cowboys Football Team, which brought him joy and relaxation.
Harold was preceded in death by two siblings, Debra White, and Darryl White.
Harold was a devoted family man who loved his grandchildren above all else. He was a beloved husband to Veronique Warren-White; and a devoted father to Jaleesa (Jamel) Robinson, Debra (Antonio) White, Britney White, Davasha Warren-White.
Harold is also survived by his grandchildren, Tomorrea, S’niya, Royale, Kayvion, Taiwan, and one on the way; siblings, Cassandra Hargraves, Wanda Crouch, Lamont (Wendy) Carter, Jeffrey Carter and Sherita Williams; god-daughter, Jayla Boyd; his dear aunt, Peggy Allen, two special nieces, Latia (Stephon) Reese and Shameka Williams; nephews and cousins; mother-in-law, Diane Alston; friends, Anita Moon, Brian Weathers, Alex Harrison, Ben Fondry, and Stacy Morton.
Also, special acknowledgments to Harold's in-laws, Sherita (Lamont) Rhodes, Tramaine (Tywana) Alston, Charles Alston, Naquita (Corey) Bennett, Kelly Alston, Michael Alston, Christian Alston, and Tiffany (Elio) Castiglia.
He was also a member of (ICU) Inner City Unity alongside some great childhood friends whom he considered his brothers Ervin Boyd, Steve Cooley, Earl Cooley, Tony Stewart, Dave Brown, Percy King, Alford Gilyard, Shawn Kelly, Steve Weldon, Clayton Bell, Mark Browning, Keith Mark, Bonnie Gibson, Alfred Richardson.
Harold White will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his legacy will live on through his family and friends.
