Gracie Little

Gracie Lee Simmons Little, 55 of High Point went to be with the Lord on
Thursday, June 27, 2013.
A resident of High Point all of her life, she was born September 10, 1957 to
Roy and Betty Balem Simmons.
Gracie was an alumni of Lucy Ragsdale High School, Jamestown, NC. She later
furthered her education at High Point College where she played basketball.
Gracie was employed as an upholstery for 25 years.
She leaves behind three children; Jarvis (Vanessa) Simmons, Darrell (Satrina)
Little Jr. and Sheresse (Jesse) Little Akers all of High Point; five
grandchildren of whom she adored, Dajahri, Maziah, Ashante, Aaliyah and
Christian; sisters, Deborah (Eric) Hayes, Barbara (Joe) Anderson, Sharon
Simmons, Pamela (Jimmy) Crawford, Benita Simmons, Roylene Middleton, Beretta
Middleton, Alicia Middleton and Renee; three brothers, Roy Lee Simmons, Efrem
Middleton and Cornelius Davis
