Mrs. Frankie Jane Ratliff Baldwin, age 73 of High Point departed this earthly life on Wednesday, January 6, 2016. She was born to the late Dewitt and Dora Sturdivant Ratliff in Wadesboro, NC on May 9, 1943. She received her education from Anson County schools. She was employed with Leggett Platt and Marsh Furniture Companies for over 25 years. Mrs. Frankie Jane loved fishing and working in her garden. She would spend the entire summer planting flowers and tomatoes. She was a joy to be around and lighten up the life of any party or family gathering. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her only son, Ronald Baldwin Jr.; older brother, Henry Ratliff; one sister, Laura Chestnut. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Davis (special friend, Buck) of High Point who loved and cared for her faithfully until death. Seven grandchildren, Centrail, (Reginald), Kizzy, Lawanda, Willie, Tori, Kelly, and Rico, who she cherished since birth; Mrs. Frankie Jane would light up any time she got a chance to spend time with any of her eight great grandchildren. She gave of herself to others and affectionately raised her nieces and nephews for many years; Frank (LaSonya), Barbara (Henry), Deborah (Kenny), and Jesse (Wanda) Ratliff. She also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends.
