Floyd David Marshall Sr., 93, was called home on Saturday, November 21, 2020. He was born in McFarlan North Carolina on August 3, 1927 to the parents of Roosevelt and Willie Mae Evans Marshall.
Proceeding him in death is his wife, Virginia Marshall; his parents Roosevelt and Willie Mae Evans Marshall; his two sons Terry Marshall and Ronnie Marshall, as well as his five brothers and one sister.
He moved to High Point and really started living his life to the fullest. He was a proud member of First Emanuel Baptist Church and he began his journey as a cab driver. He drove his own cab for many years. He loved it and did it with a passion. He worked for Borden Dairy Company but after finishing his tenure with them he became an independent truck driver. He worked as a cross guard for Guilford County School system as well. He was a man of many talents. He was always sharp when he left the house and everybody loved him. He was the same with everyone and he never changed on people. He was a dedicated family man.
Left to cherish his memory is his three sons Floyd Marshall Jr. (Marie) of Las Vegas, Nevada; Alonzo Marshall of High Point, NC; Donnie Marshall of High Point, NC; his daughter Virginia Crawford and son-n-law David Crawford of High Point, NC; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
