Fannie Walls Eleby, 73 passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro. She was born August 12, 1945 to the late Samuel Walls Sr. and Eloise Little Walls.
Fannie was formerly employed with Greensboro News and Record before she retired. She furthered her education through Bennett College receiving her Master’s Degree.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Samuel Walls Sr. and James Walls.
Fannie leaves cherished memories to: her husband, Gary Eleby Jr. of the home; two daughters, Lisa Walls and Tracy Y. Walls (Clarence Bowden) all High Point; step-son, Gary Brooks (Linda Farris) of High Point; one sister, Betty Burris of High Point; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and ten foster children that she raised; nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
