Eyvonne Leak

Ms. Eyvonne Raquel Leak was born June 18, 1970 in Cheraw, South Carolina to the parents of Mr. James and Eyvonne Bridges Leak.

She was called home to rest on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the Moses Cone Hospital in Greenboro, North Carolina.

Raquel was educated in Baltimore City Schools and graduated from Kenwood High School.  She also attended Baltimore County Community College and received credentials for a Medical Secretary and Office Assistant.  After college she was employed with Central Booking in Baltimore as well as other companies.  She later relocated to High Point, NC for a more quiet life.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Elijah Wilson.

Raquel leaves to cherish fond memories to: her parents, James Leak and Eyvonne Bridges-Leak; two children, Shi'anne Mayes and Craig Canell Wilson; grandparent, Wilean Wilson; aunts, Evamae Baskins, Claudia Ann Shannon; uncle, Arthur James Bridges who she called, “uncle Sonny;” a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
