Eric Lee St. Louis, thirty-five, of Thomasville passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston Salem. Eric was born May 30, 1987, in High Point, North Carolina, to Robert James St. Louis and Betty Joe Paul St. Louis. Eric grew up in Thomasville with his aunt, Christine St. Louis Duckworth Snody, late husband, Harold Bo Duckworth, and three children, Heather DeCamp, Zackary Duckworth, and Hunter Duckworth. He graduated from East Davidson High School, then decided on a career as an arborist. He liked being helpful and enjoyed traveling, going to amusement parks, and especially the beach, where he could go on peaceful walks. Eric loved spending time with family and friends and dressing up for Halloween. His son, Matthew, was the light of his life. Eric was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Linda Lee St. Louis and Louise Effie Prather, and brother, Colton Allen St. Louis. Eric is survived by his father, Robert J. St. Louis and wife Tara; his mother, Betty Joe Paul St. Louis; his son, Matthew Allen St. Louis; grandfather, Robert Garry St. Louis; stepsisters, Tiffany Nicole Turner and husband, Michael, Patricia Tara Garcia and husband, Bernie, and Traci Renee St. Louis; aunts, Christine St. Louis Snody and husband, Chad, and Patsy Annette Paul; uncles, Scott Alexander St. Louis and wife, Amy, and Terrence Michael St. Louis; and nine cousins and nine great-cousins.
