On Saturday, June 16, 2018, God dispatched an angel and called his daughter home, Eddie Mae Robinson. She was born in Blenheim, SC on February 4, 1955 to the late Eddie Johnson and Anna Johnson. At the tender of four, Eddie Mae was adopted by a Godly family, to Mr. James Ruben Bethea and Mrs. Margaret Wright Bethea.
Eddie Mae was a longtime resident of High Point, NC. She was a member of Living Water Baptist Church since 1985, where she served faithfully. She worked in the food industry and was a child care provider. Eddie Mae was a hard worker, loving mother, and she never met a stranger.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Lottie Mae Bethea; three brothers, Archie Bethea, Edward Bethea and George Bethea; one granddaughter and one great grandson.
Those left to cherish her memories include: four daughters, Stephanie Johnson, Linda (Jack) Smith, Jukeeta Robinson, and Tiffany Robinson; two sisters, Shirley (Artis) Nicholson of High Point, NC and Mary (Willie) Boatwright of Dillon, SC; two brothers, James (Senter) Bethea and John (Ida) Bethea of High Point, NC; two uncles, George (Lilly) David and Thomas H. David of Bennettsville, SC; eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, church family and friends.
Eddie will also be missed by special friends; Annie Evans and Betty Flowers.
