Donte Antoine Green departed this earthly life on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at the home of his sister Doris and brother-in-law, Johnathan Benjamin in High Point, NC.
Donte was born November 8, 1973 to the late Thomas Green and Leatha Keels Capers in Baltimore, MD.
Early in his life, Donte attended Gillis Memorial Baptist Church, Park Heights Baltimore, MD with his sister Doris as his spiritual leader. Donte later became a follower of the Muslim faith.
Donte graduated from Baltimore Public Schools System. He was later certified as an Electrical Technician. Donte relocated from Baltimore, MD to High Point, NC to live with his sister and brother-in-law in February 2019. He enjoyed the last three months of being spoiled and loved by his family.
In addition to his parents, Donte was also preceded in death by one brother, Oneal Capers; maternal and paternal grandparents; two uncles, Lewis Singletary and Alfonzo Singletary.
Those left to cherish his memories are: four daughters, Shanique Green, Shakera Green, Deja Green of Baltimore, MD and Brittney Green of Asheboro, NC; one son, Saquan Donte Green of Baltimore, MD; five sisters, Cassandra (Ellis) McLendon of Thomasville, NC, Doris (Johnathan) Benjamin of High Point, NC, Mellie Green, Woodridge, NJ, Jackie (George) Rich of Charlotte, NC and Sheila Johnson of Goose Creek, SC; five aunts, Regina (Josh) Burrow, Patsy and Teresa Green, Mary Singletary and Gloria Singletary; three uncles, Chuckie Green, Jimmy Green and Clarence Green; ex-wife and special friend, Debowra Green; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; two special care givers for the late three weeks of his life, Veronica Jonson and Reece Johnson.
