Mr. Dominique Rashad Dowdy. age 30, of High Point, NC, departed this earthly life on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, in High Point. Dominique was born April 4, 1989, to Ronnie Dowdy, Sr., and Ossie Rutledge Dowdy. A resident of High Point all his life, Dominique attended Lucy Ragsdale High School. He was employed with Beeson Hardware Company of High Point. Dominique was family oriented. He enjoyed sharing quality time with family and friends. He was the life of the party. He would keep you smiling and laughing. He was an avid Carolina Panthers and Boston Celtics fan. Dominique will be truly and dearly missed by many people. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Dowdy, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Charlie and Annie Rutledge; paternal grandmother, Reatha Mae Dowdy; his cousin, Carlos D. Hill, Jr.; his best friend, Tyler Williams.He leaves to cherish his precious and loving memories to: his mother, Ossie Dowdy of High Point, NC; three sisters, Tameka Perry, Renee Dowdy Lewis, and Ronnika Dowdy Lewis, all of High Point; one brother, Ronnie Dowdy, Jr., of High Point,NC; paternal grandfather, Charlie McIntyre; aunts, Patricia Hill and Amy Breeden; uncles, Charlie Rutledge, Jr., Ricky Dowdy, and Darryl Dowdy; nieces, Tameria Jackson, Alecia Smith, and Brianna Smith; nephews, Corey Jackson, Jaquan Perry, and Carter Lewis; a special friend, Veronica McLendon; and a host of other relatives and friends.
