Dionne Rechelle Bowden Brand fell asleep in death on Saturday, November 14, 2020. She was born January 31, 1968, in High Point, NC to Moses Ware, Jr. and Aramintha McKinney.
Dionne was an amazing mother, wife, friend, confidant and motivator. She was very inspirational, strong, resilient, passionate and self-sacrificing. Her life was a living example of Ephesians 4:32 "kind...tenderly compassionate, freely forgiving...."
She was always very respectful of others and never held grudges. She stayed true to herself...take her or leave it. She was a beautiful person and a wonderful mother. She was affectionately known as "Momma Bear" by her beloved daughter, of whom she reciprocated the love by calling her daughter, "Pumpkin."
Dionne worked for Axalta, formerly Valspar for many years, she also devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to her family, including her mother. Dionne found great joy in preaching about the good news of God's Kingdom, especially the resurrection hope and living in a world of true peace and security. She fought the fine fight of faith by remaining loyal to Jehovah to the very end, even when it meant her life.
Dionne was preceded in death by her beloved son, Frankie Edwards Bowden, Jr., and the father of her children, Frankie Edwards Bowden, Sr., and siblings, Steven Ware and Aaron Ware.
Dionne is survived by her parents, Moses and Aramintha; her devoted husband, Secoyah; her cherished daughter, Tia Simone Ware; her adored grandson, Frankie Malik Bowden; her siblings, Darrell E. Ware (Vonda) of High Point, NC and Sandra Ware Treadway (Donnie) of Georgia. She also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, friends and a worldwide brotherhood.
