Derek Myron Little

Mr. Derek Myron Little, 56, made his earthly transition at his home on Sunday, December 3, 2023. He was born October 8, 1967, to Patricia and the late Louis Little. He attended High Point public schools and loved to run track in high school. Derek enjoyed music, especially classical and old-school R&B, and loved to hear his mother sing. He was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. Derek had a kind, loving, and generous spirit and an infectious smile that will be sorely missed by many. His response to I love you was always, “Love you more.” He was our lil’ brother, our “Bae”. May God bless his soul. Derek leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Patricia, and stepfather, John Roberts; son, Bradley Little of North Wilkesboro, NC; and siblings, Melody Little Lee (Leon), Terry Little, Nathan Love (Gwendolyn), Deanna Little, all of High Point, NC, David Little, and Tracy Morgan of Statesville, NC. Derek also had seven grandchildren; an uncle, Gerry Baldwin, and aunts, Kimberly Gordon and Helen Crawford; special friend and caregiver, Sonya Lee and Ossie Dowdy; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
