Scotty Jerome Reaves, (age 54), of High Point, NC peacefully departed this earthly life and gained his wings on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center- High Point.

Scotty was born on February 21, 1966 in Winston Salem, NC to Dorsel Williford and James Reaves Jr. He was the eldest child of three siblings. He graduated from Parkland High School. He also attended Trucking School in Indiana. Scotty was married to Arlisa Mack Reaves.  He was an active member of Chosen Generation Church where he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Superintendent, Usher and was member of the Season Praise Team.  He was employed with Sara Lee Hosiery for 14 years as a Forklift Driver until his health declined.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Dexter.

Scotty leaves to cherish his legacy and memories to his loving and devoted wife of 10 years, Arlisa Reaves of the home; his daughter, Tameisha Reaves of Atlanta, GA; his mother, Dorsel (Michael) Jackson of Winston Salem, NC; father, James (Daisy) Reaves Jr. of Winston Salem, NC; three step-children, Abram Booth of Greenville, NC, Ambriana (Justin) Brannon and Ashli (Albert) Saunders all of High Point, NC; one brother, Keith ( Jennifer) Reaves of Rock Hill, SC; one sister, Jane (Juan) Brown of Greensboro, NC and step-sisters, Nelda Washington of Clarksville, TN, Kenya (James) Leach, Michelle Moses; two step-brothers Michael Moses, Demike Gadson, all of Winston-Salem, NC; four adorable grandchildren, Aubrielle, Ariyah, Auriel, and Amir; His Great Niece whom he raised Samara, and a Godson Ti’Kari, his long-time friend James Deon Williams; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, supportive and loving in-laws, and church family and friends.
