Colleen Anderson

Ms. Colleen Taylor Anderson, 65, transitioned to her heavenly home on Monday, January 9, 2016 at High Point Regional Hospital following an extended illness.
Colleen was born on January 9, 1952 to the late Albert Daniel Taylor and Olivia Campbell Taylor in Greene County. She received her education from the Greene County Public School System.
Colleen enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, Cooking, Baking cakes and making beautiful clay sculptures. She was famous for her iconic praying hand sculptures and clocks. She loved country music and also had a passion for writing songs.
Colleen was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Anderson, Sr; two brothers, Daniel Taylor, and Nathaniel Taylor; two sisters, Ruthie Mae Taylor Williams, Alice Lorraine Taylor Washington; sister in law, Pearl Taylor and three nieces, Gwendolyn Williams, Pastor Julie fuller, and Barbara Taylor.
Colleen Taylor leaves to cherish her memory, her loving daughter, Sophia (Charles) Catty, High Point, NC; Adopted daughter, Monica (Marvin) Jarrett, High Point, NC; Four sons, Jimmy Johnson, High Point, NC, Eric (Amy) Williams, Asheboro, NC, Eddie (Sheila) Anderson ,Charlotte, NC, and Kim (Anita) Anderson, High Point, NC; three sisters, Arlene (Everette) Taylor, Franklin, VA,  Mattie Taylor, Charlotte, NC and Linda (Mike) Lowry, Chesapeake, VA; one brother, Bill Taylor, Thomasville, NC; twelve grandchildren, Jerome (Whitney) Little, Erica Williams, Jacqueline Williams, Varren Anderson, Emrick Milton, Jarod Jones, Jaylin Anderson, Cyncer Atkins, Porsha Ray , Bon’e Ray, Bishawn Ray; 14 great grandchildren,; a God daughter, Ursula Bethea; and two special friends , Maggie Little and Tangee cooper; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
