Colby Bethea

Colby Jamar Bethea passed away December 1, 2020 amongst friends. He was born November 1, 1996 in High Point, NC to Latoya Bethea and Derrick McKiver. Colby was a graduate of Southwest High School class of 2015.

Despite his short time on earth he was deeply loved and brought immense joy to those around him. He will forever be remembered for his silly humor and affectionate ways. He always ended a conversation with “I Love you.”

Colby will forever be loved and remembered by his parents, his siblings Destiny Jackson and Derrick McKiver, Jr of High Point; grandparents, Ella Bethea, Patricia (Gerald) Cotton and Robert Chatman of High Point, NC., five aunts: Melinda Wilson, Kelvina Caldwell, Kesha Steed, Darlisha Dixon & Shareka Chatman; three uncles: Ricco McQueen, Kirby Waston & Jerome Bethea; Godparents, Denina Davis, Cedric & Terri Gibson of High Point.
