Clinton Lewis Hunter, son of the late Willie and Floree Marie Hunter was born on April 15, 1957 in Thomasville, NC.
Mr. Hunter affectionately called “Clint” transitioned from earth to glory on Wednesday, December 25, 2019.
Mr. Hunter graduated from Thomasville Senior High School and continued his education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and a minor in Mechanical Engineering/ Media Studies in 1979.
He was a strong believer in Continued Education. He was a devout member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. He was employed by Electrical Logistics, and Self- Employed as an Independent Tax Consultant for many years in Long Island, NY.
He had a strong love and passion for reading and enjoyed conversating about the latest News Hot Topics. He loved to research Historic Events. He was fascinated by the Heavens, studying the stars, planets and galaxies.
He loved all sports and enjoyed watching his favorite team the Carolina Tarheels whether they won or loss he would say “they are going to do better next year! Clint was a true music lover enjoying many genres of music including Classical, Musicals, Pop music and Quartet gospel music.
He was a devout member of TLC Ministries Inc. He was faithful in attending church and community events and always helping others. He was kind and loving to everyone he met. He will be truly miss by his family, friends and church family.
He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Juanita Mock of San Diego, CA, Alecia (Tyris) Underwood of High Point, NC, eight grandchildren, Quinndarrin Riley Jr., Shanequa Riley, Quandria Riley, Diamond Tatum, TyLisa Underwood, Tykia Underwood, Bishop Underwood, Loyalty Underwood; two brothers, Willie (Jackie) Hunter of Burlington, NC, Apostle D. L. Hunter of Thomasville, NC, two sisters, Lois Hunter of Thomasville, NC, Carolyn Hunter of High Point, NC; one maternal aunt,Thelma Justice of Durham, NC, one uncle, James Lewis Keels of NY; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
