Claudus Quick Sr.

Mr. Claudus Quick Sr., age 64 of High Point went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 12, 2017.

He was born November 18, 1952 to the late Elmo Quick Sr. and Jessie Bell Peguese Quick.  “Cheetah” as he was called by family and friends graduated from High Point Central where he played football. He advanced his education at A & T University and majored in business administration.  Cheetah was formerly employed with the City of High Point and Golden State.

In addition to his parents, Cheetah was also preceded in death by two brothers, Eli Quick and Elmer Quick.

He leaves to cherish his memories to two sons, Corey (Mitch) Davis and Shawn (Reva) Quick of High Point; four grandchildren; three sisters, Thresser Quick, Cynthia (Corneluis) Quick and Sheila (Jesse) Grace; one brother, Michael Quick all of High Point; a special uncle, Freddie (Betty) Peguese and aunt, Catherine; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
