Clarence Lee Bethea, age 61 of High Point, NC departed this earthly life on Sunday, May 26, 2024.
Clarence worked as a Production Tech at Flowers Bakery for 17 years. Everyone there always spoke very highly of Clarence. His sense of humor and his friendly attitude are what drew a lot of people to him.
He attended Ragsdale High School in Jamestown, NC.
He was a big sports fan. He was an expert on football, basketball, and baseball. His favorite teams were Miami Dolphins, Boston Red Sox and the Philadelphia 76ers. He could sit around for hours discussing sports.
He could find humor in almost any situation. If you were around him for a while you were going to get a nickname. And you could be assured that nickname was going to be with you for the rest of your life.
Clarence was preceded in death by parents, George and Effie Mae Priest Bethea. He's survived by two sons, Clarence Lee Bethea and Tez Lenoard; four siblings, Glenolia Bethea, Dorthy Bethea Garrison, George Jerome Bethea and Sean Tyrone Bethea; one grandson, Jalen Carter Bethea; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Although Clarence is no longer with us, he will never be forgotten.
Rest in peace
Love friends and family
