Mr. Christopher Demon Houston, 41 of High Point died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 22, 2013. He was born on November 17, 1971 to Rufus Parker and Jean Houston Parker.
A lifelong resident of High Point, Christopher graduated from High Point Central High School class of 1991 where he was a great football player. He was affectionately called, “Andy, “Big A” and “Teddy Bear.” Christopher was a very loving person who devoted himself to his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Houston Parker two sisters, Sharon Houston and Teresa Allison; one nephew, Michael Houston.
He leaves precious memories to his father, Rufus Parker of High Point; his nieces of whom he considered his daughters, Lateesha Houston of High Point, Antenetta Flake of Charlotte, NC and Raven Houston of High Point; his fiancee, Lyntha Campbell of the home; brother, Anthony Houston of High Point; step brother, Rufus Alford; favorite aunts, Carol Dunlap and Linda Clark; great aunt, Mable Glover; niece, Shandi Ingram of High Point; “Uncle Andy’s” great nephew and nieces, Michael Thompson Zakiya Houston and Yazmen Scorry; his brother in love, John Dye; best friends, Steven Palmer, Wayne Ingram and Lamont Johnson; a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral service will be 1:30pm, Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 715 W. Willis Ave. Family visitation will begin at 1:00pm at the church. Interment will be in Oakwood Memorial Park
