Charles "Pork Chop" Worthy, Sr.

On November 8, 2018, Charles Rufus Worthy, Sr. departed this life at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, MD.  “Pork Chop,” as he was affectionately called by others.  A native of Thomasville, NC, Charles was born January 19, 1945 to the late Charnell Worthy and Maggie Rogers Worthy.

In addition to his parents, Charles was also preceded in death by his siblings; Hattie McCant, Rosa Duncan, Jody Worthy, James Worthy, Pauline Blackwell, John Worthy and Ann Winston,

His life, memories and smile will always be remembered and cherished by his children; Charles (Stephanie) Worthy Jr. , James Worthy, Tamika Byers and Mia Byers; eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren; his siblings, Geraldine Dunlap and Cathleen Worthy; a host of nieces & nephews and friends.
