Charles Mcleod

Mr. Charles William McLeod, a loving husband, devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend of many, departed this earthly life on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at his residence. He was born September 26, 1938 to the late Mr. Charley and Mrs. Hartence Miles McLeod in Bennettsville, SC. He attended Marlboro County Schools in SC. Charles confessed Christ at an early age and was converted. He relocated to High Point, NC and was married to Lucille McCall McLeod. Charles worked in the Manufacturing Industry for many years. He enjoyed fishing, racing and grilling out with family and friends. Charles touched many people with his kindness; and those of us who were blessed to have known him, he will always have a special place in our hearts. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother, Leroy McLeod and one sister, Jessie Lee Massey. He is survived by his wonderful wife of 45 years, Lucille McLeod of the home; four sons, Charles (Corine) McLeod of High Point, NC, Richard Jr. (Janice) McLeod of Goose Creek, SC, Walter (Marlene) McLeod and Kenneth Wayne McLeod all of High Point, NC; two daughters, Barbara (Joseph) Henderson and Shirley (Robert) Blocker all of High Point, NC; one brother, Richard McLeod of Bennettsville, SC; one sister, Elizabeth (Alonzo) Smith of Lexington, SC; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Hattie McCall, Maxine (Willie Sr.) McIntyre, Millie (Carson) Bennett and Catherine Stubbs; brother-in-law, Elijha Jr. (Christine) McCall all of High Point, NC; a host of other family and dear friends.
