Charles Edward Howze went to be home with the Lord on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Wake Forest Baptist Health - High Point Medical Center.
He was born on August 30, 1961 in Shelby, North Carolina to Franklin Sr. and Doris Howze.
In his earlier years, he attended High Point Central High School and later enrolled in Job Corps. He loved riding bicycles, fishing and watching the football. He always rooted for his favorite team, the Washington Red Skins.
He was employed at New York Styles and Jessica Charles. He was also a member of Friendship Holiness Church until his health declined.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Howze; parents, Franklin and Doris Howze; three brothers, Franklin Howze, Curtis Howze and Curtis McNeil; a grandchild; parents-in-law, Calvin and Doris Ellison.
Surviving to cherish his memories are three sons, Charles Harris, Sr; Raheen (Madelyn) Johnson, Sr; and Malcolm Johnson, Sr; all of High Point, NC; twenty-five grandchildren; three sisters, Evangelist Cynthia (Frank) Page and Flora Graves of High Point NC, Sabrina (James) Waters, of Winston-Salem NC; five brothers, Bishop Richard (Prophetess Barbara) Howze, of High Point NC, Sherman Howze, of Lexington NC, James Howze, of Danville VA, Michael McNeil and Adam McNeil of High Point NC; three aunts, Janie Patterson of Shelby NC, Lousie Williams of Hickory NC, and Shirley Wilson of Jamestown, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff and management of the Meridian Center in High Point NC and the Wake Forest Baptist Health - High Point Medical Center.
