Carol Ann Campbell, 52, of 500 Hickory Chapel Road, departed this life on Sunday, October 1, 006, at High Point Regional Hospital following a brief period of illness. She was born in High Point, NC on December 25, 1953, to Robert Lee and Ola Mae Campbell.
As a lifetime resident of High Point, NC, she attended William Penn High School and worked as a seamstress for many years until her health began to decline. "Schlotzky" as family and many friends affectionately called her, was known for her love of music, dancing and being one of the best-dressed women in High Point. NC.
Her father, her sister, Iris Faye Baldwin and a very special uncle, Arthur McClure Jr. all precedes her in death.
Those left to cherish her fond and loving memories include her loving mother, Ola Mae Campbell of the home; two beautiful daughters, Lisa Campbell and Mercedes Spencer; eight grandchildren, Robert and Joshua Williams, Ricquondra Campbell, Verquashia and Rico Baldwin of the home, Michaela, Makenzie and Mikayia Farley; two sisters, Mary Love and Patricia (Charles) Chillcutt; six brothers, Roy Campbell, Harry Lee, John Robert Campbell, Freddie (Linda) Campbell, Donald Ray Campbell and Michael (Monique) Campbell, a very dear niece, "Jeannie" and a host of other relatives and many friends.
