Bobby Lee Pearson, 48 also known as “Peanut” was born on July 15, 1965 to the late James and Helen Pearson in Bennettsville, SC. He was called to his eternal rest on February 25, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center-Pineville in Charlotte, NC. At a young age Bobby endured the loss of his mother and was raised by paternal grandmother, the late Mrs. Nealie Pearson.
He attended Marlboro County Schools. Bobby was a man of many talents. Throughout his life, he served as a general laborer in various manufacturing, construction and moving companies. He enjoyed cooking, installing stereo equipment and rendering good jokes. He had a vociferous laugh that could touch anyone's heart and make them smile.
His parents, grandmother, one sister, Jackie Pearson, and one brother, James Lamon Steed, preceded him in death.
Bobby leaves to cherish his memory: two daughters; Tasheka Travers (Lemarcus) of Fayetteville, NC and Tyeisha Crump of Hamlet, NC; one grandson, Courtland Young, Jr. of Hamlet, NC; one niece Nealie (Punkin) Pearson of Fort Campbell, KY; a special friend Yolonda Ingram of Fort Mill, SC; a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins.
