Berry Mcbee

On Wednesday, June 6, 2007, Berry McBee, departed this earthly life at High Point Regional Hospital.

He was born November 17, 1924, in Greenville, SC to Jerry and Sarah Williams McBee. Mr. McBee attended the High Point Public Schools. In his earlier years, he worked for Don & Kay Silver and later retiring from Kay Chemical Company in Greensboro, NC. He was a devoted and loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Sharing his fond and loving memories include his seven daughters, Josephine Sturdivant of Philadelphia, PA; Sarah (Jerry) Broadie of Thomasville, NC; Ora Mae McBee known as "Penny" of Winston-Salem, NC; Jacqueline Brown of High Point, NC; Linda K. McBee of Philadelphia, PA; Deborah K. McBee of High Point, NC; Patricia (Frank) Small of High Point, NC; three sons; Jerry L. McBee of Columbia, SC, Willis L. Cathey Sr., and Donald R. Cathey both of High Point, NC; two special nieces, Gladys Chavis and her husband, Glen, Shirley Raper and her husband, A.V. all of High Point, NC; one special sister-in-law, Evella McBee of Tarboro, NC; 18 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, a host of other relatives and friends.
