Beatrice Garrett-Little

Mrs. Beatrice Calloway Garrett Little passed away at Hospice of the Piedmont on Wednesday, September 6, 2017. Bea was born August 1, 1950 in Americus, Georgia to Alford Codell Brockman and Mary Lizzie Furlow Brockman.

Bea attended Tifton County schools in Tifton, Georgia. She was a resident of High Point for 35 years.  Bea was previously employed with Harris & Covington Hosiery Mills.

In addition to her parents, Beatrice was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Sue Dowdell.

Surviving to cherish her memories is her husband of six years, Mr. James Little: three children, Angela Gaskin, Teresa Gaskin, and Ron Davis, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren of High Point, NC; She was one of ten siblings; Ms. Mary Anne Neal, Mr.Willie James Brockman, Mr. Billy Carl (Sherrial) Fuller, Mr. Alfonia (Linda) Furlow, Mr. Codell Brockman Mrs. Patricia (Rev Larry) Linseby, Mr. Michael (April) Brockman all of High Point, NC and Mr. Anthony (Yvone) Brockman of Greensboro, NC; three uncles, Joseph (Liz) Furlow of Miami Fl; Sam (Mary) Furlow Durham NC; Rocket (Brenda) Furlow of Huntsville Al; three aunts, Lillie Ree Bell of Miami Fl; Mattie Sampson of High Point, NC; and Irma Furlow of Huntsville Al; a host of nieces, nephews,cousins, and friends; two devoted friends Phyllis Smith and Michell Garas.
