Kaelani Lily Marie Williams, 20 weeks old, departed this earthly life on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Moses Cone Women’s and Children’s Hospital. God sent his angel from Heaven to ease her suffering.
Kaelani was loved tremendously and her family members were excited for her arrival and highly anticipating her birth. Her grandmother, great-aunt, and mother were able to hold her and love on her before letting her go. There was a small memorial ceremony held for her in the room she was delivered in by Moses Cone’s Chaplain. She carries the middle name “Lily” after her maternal great grandmother Frances Lillie Baldwin, and “Marie” from her mother’s best friend Anna Marie Randolph.
She leaves to cherish loving memories her mother, Kelsey Baldwin, her father, Rodney Williams, a sister (of the home), Kamia Hilton, a brother (of the home) Kai Baldwin, her maternal grandparents, Sandra Grace and Bryan Hill, four uncles, Darrell Overton Jr., Darrius Overton, Diondre Overton, and Xavier Baldwin. She also has a host of brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and grandparents on her paternal side of the family. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Alfred Dequincy Baldwin III, her maternal great grandmother Mary Frances Sellers Grace, her maternal great grandfather Sam B. Eaddy, and her paternal great grandfather Alfred Baldwin Jr.
