Anthony Rayshawn McLendon

Anthony Rayshawn McLendon, silently transitioned into God’s embrace on Sunday, January 28, 2024. 

Anthony was born on March 7, 1990, in High Point, NC to Christopher McLendon, Sr. and Marette Zimmerman McLendon. 

Anthony, affectionately known as “Antman” by his family and friends, attended Guilford County Public Schools. He was employed with McLendon Tree Services. He loved spending time with his family and friends and showing off his gymnastics skills. Antman’s favorite pastimes included writing, poetry and music and listening to different genres of music. 

He leaves to cherish his memories: Ms. Emily Sullivan, a special friend and mother of his daughters; his parents, Christopher McLendon Sr. and Marette Zimmerman McLendon; two daughters, Aaliyah and Aubrey McLendon; two brothers, Christopher McLendon, Jr. and Larry McLendon; four sisters, Sandra Zimmerman, Ashley Smith, Pamela McLendon, and Jessica McLendon; his grandmother, Mrs. Shirley S. Zimmerman; his grandfather, Mr. James McLendon, Sr.; and a host of relatives and friends.
