Mrs. Annie Mae Middlebrook, 82 of High Point passed away on Monday, August 5, 2013 at High Point Regional Hospital. She was born on March 6, 1931 in Arabi, GA, a daughter of the late Charlie Glover and Daisy Broskin Glover.
Annie was a married to the late Andrew Middlebook Sr. She retired from Highland Cotton Mills. She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she sang joyfully on the Senior Choir. Annie was a devoted and wonderful mother.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by fours brothers and two sisters.
Loved ones who remain to celebrate her life include: three sons, Bobby (Patricia) Middlebrook, Andrew (Betty) Middlebrook Jr. of High Point and Don (Melicent) Middlebrook of Charleston, SC; three daughters, Clara Mae Sanders of Winston Salem, NC, Willie Mae Middlebrook and Gladys Middlebrook both of High Point; one brother, Willie James (Gladys) Glover of High Point; two sisters, Geneva Denson of Tampa, FL and Mildred Andrews of New Brunswick, NJ; eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren; a host of other family members and dear friends.
Homegoing service will be 1:00pm, Friday, August 9, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church, 808 Hilltop St. with Rev. Amos Quick III, officiating. Family visitation will begin at 12:30-1:00pm at the church. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park
