Allen Gray

Mr. Allen Gray Jr., 78 of High Point, departed this earthly life on Tuesday,
June 18, 2013 at Hospice Home at High Point.
He was born on July 24, 1934 to the late Allen Gray Sr. and Lina Belo Gray in
Randolph County, NC.
Allen worked for Carolina Container until his retirement.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by two sisters and
brothers-in law, Gertrude (Ruben) Buchannon and Mildred (Frank Sr.) Stubbs.
He leaves cherish memories to his wife, Mary Gray of High Point, sons, Allen
(Falana) Ringgold, Larry (Maxine) Foneyberger Rashid (Barbara) Ali, Charles
Jackson, Sammy Jackson and Kenneth Williams all of High Point; daughters,
Elizabeth (John) Cannady of High Point, Linda Jackson of Durham, NC, Lana
(Jeffrey) Hooker of Salisbury, NC, Allyn “Renee” Stancil of High Point, Julia
“Cookie” (Chauncy) Sanders of Charlotte, NC, Rita (Marvin) Edmonds of
Philadelphia, PA, Tammie Jones of Charlotte, NC, Mary Brant, Inez Lee, Dannie
Williams, Barbara (Thomas) Leach, Cynthia Williams and Michelle Williams all of
High Point, NC and Angela (Clayton) Love of Thomasville, NC; 162 grandchildren
and 102 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives
and many friends.
Funeral service will be 11:00am, Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Living Water
Baptist Church, 1300 Brentwood St.  Visitation will begin at 10:30am at the
church.  Burial will be in Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC.
